staff says that the boy made a run for it when his mother got there to pick him up. that means this boy walked 1-6 miles in less than 30 minutes. even the principal admits the numbers don't add up. the first grader is still learning to traumatic talk and couldn't explain how it was crossing all of that traffic. chris tag is a pta vice president and says these teachers were nej negligent. >> the entire east coast is preparing for what forecasters are calling franken storm. it's sandy and two other storms hitting just in time for

halloween. waves and heavy rain are flooding streets in and around miami. on tuesday it's scheduled to hit new jersey meeting with a winter storm and cold arctic air. that means the chance for major flooding and power outages and possible significant snow. >> if this storm comes together as expected it could affect the east coast through next week and cost a billion dollars in repairs. >> we're going to start with the storm. we have a big storm and that storm on the east coast. when you get a cold front interacting with a tropical system it can make the winds worse. from virginia to the cape just east of boston they're looking

at the possibility of a land falling hurricane as soon as monday night. for us, couldn't be more perfect but it's getting chilly. already down to 52. we will see widespread 40s overnight tonight and some of you will drop to the 30s tonight. the radar is clear but hire are the lows, fremont 48 degrees and definitely the heat is going to be needed in nap pa and santa rosa. we have high pressure building in from the west and when that happens we get a west to east flow. a little cloud cover and lots of afternoon sunshine. whathappens over the weekend, saturday, sunday and also monday, high pressure builds to the north. that will make it drier, and sunnier and that will allow the sun to warm us up.

on gasoline. i am probably going to the gas station about once a month. last time i was at a gas station was about...i would say... two months ago. i very rarely put gas in my chevy volt. i go to the gas station such a small amount that i forget how to put gas in my car. all about the giant's bats but tonight, it was all about pitching. it was a beautiful night at at&t for the world series. we had eight strike outs and the game was scoreless until the seventh. that's when brandon crawford hit a runner in. sergio roam mow to close it out, the giants win two to nothing and they will go to detroit leading the tigers two games to none. >> we've seen what happens to our teams when they get lead, we have to just play like nothing happened tonight. they play well at their house. >> i don't think they're getting any breaks. up to this point they've out played us, they did a little better than us today, they're
